Teah Izzard, second grader at Brevard Elementary School, was one of 16 artists from around N.C. recognized for her artistic talents at a reception in Raleigh. The NC General Assembly and NC Art Education Association have worked together for 7 years to host this annual exhibit, with student artists selected by a panel of art teachers from around the state.
